so. college is amazing.

i moved in on thursday. manresa (orientation) lasted until monday morning, and that was amazing and i met some people who i hope will become great friends, and even met a great guy who is worthy of my drooling over (sorry, blake!). my group leaders, emily and patrick, were wonderful.

caitlin and eva are such great roomies! we all get along wonderfully. our suitmates, kelly, nidia, and emily, are all also amazing. the showers are tiny and caitlin and i are debating shaving in the sink because itd be easier than in the shower! our dorm, husman, is by far the most amazing and superb. the third floor rocks. blake and alex live a skip and a jump down the hallway and i spend most of my time either in their dorm (with their quiet and distant roomie ryan, who talks to his girlfriend 24/7) or they come to ours, or we all go hang out together somewhere else.

week of welcome has started and is halfway over. free montgomery inn, skyline, graeters, larosas pizza, and t-shirts among other things are a plus. the campus is apparantly obsessed with ultimate frisbee, which i LOVE.  and we've also played mafia and sand volleyball. and had a Doug marathon on the greenspace.

i have a job, a mere 3 hours this week but i make 8.50 an hour and will hopefully be picking up more hours soon and also getting another job. i start tomorrow. blake has two jobs working in the theatre (grrr..)

so far classes have been great. my first teacher was late to class today, im the only freshman in my piano class, and theatre was a good group of people. tomorrow is my crappy walking day bc i gotta sprint all the way across campus in ten minutes which is really a longer walk that that. we'll see how that goes. then i work 1230-2. concert choir 3-415. and then tap 7-750.

SO. college is fabulous and i am loving every minute of it. i wish i could decide between playing club ultimate frisbee or doing theatre, im gonna try to be somehow involved in both. it'll work. somehow.

I MISS TX.
i wrote a poem about CATS for creative writing, which I'll post later....
but i'm really going to miss TX. that place was a second home to me.
I know for sure I'll be back to visit next year. i'll most likely stop by during a work
session sometime.
thanks to the overnight, i am now better friends with john and bradley, which is fabulous.
i adore them both.
